ZKTeco AL180 Electromagnetic lock

The ZKTeco AL180 is a mid-range electromagnetic lock designed for access control systems on doors with moderate to elevated load requirements — office entrances, metal and wooden doors, and interior partitions. The lock operates on the principle of electromagnetism: when electric current passes through the silicon steel plate, it generates a strong magnetic attraction that securely holds the corresponding metal armature plate and, in turn, the door, in a closed position. Cutting power instantly releases the attraction, allowing the door to open freely.

With a holding force of approximately 180kg, the AL180 offers greater strength than entry-level AL series models, making it well suited for doors with moderate usage intensity.
